American Aero cosmetically restored a Russian T-34 in a 1944 winter paint scheme.

Delivery of T-34 The T-34 arrived in port and was delivered to American Aero’s facility

Turret removal After arriving the turret was removed so the fighting compartment could be water blasted along with the turret

Water blasting Along with the fighting compartment the entire exterior was water blasted and treated for flash rust

Painted turret Once the turret was primed a base coat of green was applied

Fighting compartment paint and radios After the interior was restored all of the original equipment was reinstalled in the fighting compartment

Exterior paint After all of the rust was removed and repairs were made the exterior of the tank was finished in a over all green base coat

Winter white wash and markings The T-34 was finished in a winter white wash over the base color of green using rags
