Restorations and Maintenance
American Aero Services is an award-winning leader in warbird, military-vehicle, and space-vehicle restoration. Operating from our New Smyrna Beach facility, we field a team of FAA-licensed Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanics—many with Inspection Authorization (IA)—who deliver museum-grade precision that returns historic aircraft, armor, and spacecraft to authentic, airworthy condition.
Bringing Aviation History Back to Life.

Welding & Spot Welding Service
Our in-house aviation welding shop fabricates and repairs steel, aluminum, and magnesium components with aircraft-grade precision. Equipped with a 200 kVA resistance spot welder, we restore warbird cowlings and thin-gauge sheet-metal panels to factory strength and finish—extending the life of your historic airframe while keeping it 100 % airworthy.
Delivering Museum-Grade Quality on Every Project

Machine Shop
Our New Smyrna Beach machine shop features HAAS CNC mills and lathes alongside precision manual equipment, giving us the power to reverse-engineer and reproduce missing or damaged warbird parts to exact original specifications. In-house machining means shorter lead times, perfect fit, and FAA-compliant quality on every rivet, gear, and bushing we deliver.

CAD Capabilities
Our on-site engineering suite leverages advanced 3-D CAD modeling and drafting software to design replacement parts and custom instrument panels for vintage and modern aircraft. We reverse-engineer worn or missing components, generate production-ready drawings and STC documentation, and supply digital files optimized for CNC machining or 3-D printing—guaranteeing a perfect fit and FAA compliance every time.
We also host The New Smyrna Beach Balloon & Sky Festival each year!Mi

Microfilm Library
Our extensive microfilm archive houses original military blueprints, service manuals, and parts catalogs spanning WWII through the space-race era. We digitally scan and enlarge these records into full-size fabrication drawings, ensuring every restoration meets exact factory specifications and historical authenticity.
